Description
This is an extremely rare issue of the much sought after Foxtrot LP by Genesis. The LP is on the original "Large" hatter Charisma label, and was released in 1972. The words PORKY & PECKO are etched in the run off grooves, and the matrix numbers are 1-AU and 1-BU signifying genuine first press.
The gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition with no discernable blemishes, other than a very very slight nick at the top right hand coner of the open edge and wear to the top edge on the rear gatefold. The open edge is quite sharp with minimal fraying. There is no creasing or flattening to the spine and the original "red" type has not faded. There is no ring wear or markings on the sleeve.
The inner gatefold containing the lyrics is in mint condition.
The package comes complete with the original Company red inner sleeve. This has a the stamp of a record store plus the catalogue number and original(?) price written neatly in the top right hand corner.
Visually, the vinyl is in near mint condition with no discernable blemishes. I have play tested the LP and there are no clicks or jumps, and sharp sound throughout.
The labels are clean with no evidence of spindlewear.
