FROM GENESIS TO REVELATIONS.
This album is from my own collection from my days as a D.J and is in mint, un-played condition.
This actually is one of my own albums and has never been on a turntable or had a stylus put upon it.

Recording date: August 1968 Release date: March 1969
As stated this album has never been played and is therefore free of any spindle markings of any kind.
The actual playing surfaces are in Excellent to Mint condition with just a few extremely light featherings from the paper inner sleeve and nothing else, these are only visible under a bright halogen lamp and even then they are very difficult to see.
The front of the outer glossy laminated black gatefolds sleeve is as shiny & pristine as the day is was printed.
and the matt black reverse of the sleeve is free from any marks, writing, tearing, finger marks, edge wear, warping or any other damage.

I did try to capture the magnificent shine on the sleeve and vinyl and any reflections or shadows are just that, reflections and shadows.
This album in it’s entirety is a stunning example of the rare record and would grace any serious collection.
I cannot play grade this album as I normally would because this would infring on it's unplayed status.
I am certain this album would have no problems with it's audio re-production
The Blue DECCA Polly lined inner sleeve is still in perfect condition.
The White and Pink lyric insert is again in absolute mint condition.

Now you may be curious as to how I came to have such a rarity.
Back n the sixties / seventies & mid eighties I was a D.J specialising in playing rock/progressive music, playing a lot of Psychedelic music such as Pink Floyd. Yes, Tull, Sabbath, Hawkwind, Genesis, The old Fleetwood Mac,(blues), The Who, and many other bands when back then bands were worth listening to.
Now and again my agent who also run a well known record retail business would be sent brand new releases to sample, and this was indeed one of them.
(Remember this is not a promo copy)
My agent was well aware that I played this kind of music and gave this album to me because I was the only DJ on his books who played this kind of music, but I never did play this copy the space of one week I was given another one and this second copy was the one I used. to play and the other one was stored in my cabinet for some 37 years.
as a result this copy has never been on a record deck and never had a stylus near it
This album has been stored in a plastic outer sleeve and then a purpose made cardboard sleeve since I was given to me.
The whole package of the record, outer sleeve, inner sleeve and lyric sheet I have no problem with a grading of Excellent+ to Mint. condition
