Description

I purchased this album in the secondary market advertised as excellent vinyl and a VG+ cover and following my own appraisal I agree with this.  After a light cleaning I played the album through the Grado’s and the sound was well within the excellent category, truth be told the sound was perfect.  What is causing the excellent score as opposed to near mint based on the play grade is related to some light surface marks visible under a close inspection on both sides, certainly nothing of any significance and nothing that impacts the quality of the sound and numerically I am scoring the vinyl a 87, like a very solid B+. The cover is very close to a B- and being within the bottom end of excellent however I am conservatively scoring this a 77, more like C+ territory.  Both the front and rear cover show a couple of faint rub spots.  There is also some wear within the corners, most noticeably on the top left and top right corners with lesser wear within the bottom corners. While there are no separations within the seams or spine there is light wear within the top gatefold. Regarding shipping the album is shipped within cardboard but with the vinyl outside of the jacket inside of a Whiplash record mailer.  If you have any other questions please let me know and thank you for looking!
