Description

An original 1st press of ATOTT on the UK Charisma label from 1976. Matrix A1/B1. Please note the label is the smaller MAD HATTER version which is consistent with 1st press on this title. The vinyl comes housed in an original Robor printed textured heavy-card cover. Also included is the original bespoke inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. A lovely player with very little to find fault with. Genesis needs a nice clean rendition to do it any sort of justice...this copy will not and does not disappoint. Interference is pretty much non-existent. I couldn't detect more than a couple of light crackles in an isolated spot per side. A real humdinger that's for sure...
Cover (Ex/Ex+) Well, you will see from a brief search on E-bay that this cover seems to be a real hard one to find in top-level condition. I guess, it's the non-laminated cover with a light colouring and that texture just adds to the problems. So, finding a truly decent looking cover is something of an exercise. This copy, however, appears to ace it in all the right areas. Very clean and unworn/unmmarked front and back. Just very very clean and sowing no signs of being affected by light or the ageing process. It's the same story in the interior too - pretty much faultless. Edge wear is pretty much non-existent and the openings still sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains perfect rigidity. I don't think there can be too many examples out there looking quite this fine and dandy.
Inner (Ex) The same standard as the cover. No markings or splits. Pretty much perfect.
