Description
Up for Auction is an excellent MONO copy of the LP- "Gene Vincent and His Bluecaps- Bluejean Bop" by the by United States musical artists, a first UK pressing, circa 1956, But listed on the record label as- "Gene Vincent and His Bluecaps Play Bluejean Bop", in VERY GOOD condition as far as the actual record goes.
The record has a fair few fine, surface hairlines and scuffs here and there that do not affect the quality of the audio play back. They can only be seen by holding the record up on an angle in artificial light, under normal lighting conditions you cannot see most of them. It is graded VERY GOOD.
The record labels on both sides are crisp. bright, clean and undamaged in NEAR MINT condition with no sign of spindle wear or damage. The inner, paper, printed record sleeve is in NEAR MINT condition
The album jacket very slight ring-wear on the front and back. An area t the front, bottom, right has been torn and taped up, 10 x 4 cm. The tape carries over to the reverse of the jacket.
The sleeve entrance is worn on the front and has lost some of its lamination. All three spines have creases on the front which affects the laminate and there are corner knocks on all four corners. The back of the jacket has creasing and loss of the laminate also, (please see photos).
The record is graded VERY GOOD The Sleeve is graded GOOD/FAIR (see photos) The Labels are graded NEAR MINT (see photos) The audio on both sides is graded VERY GOOD PLUS The inner, paper record sleeve is graded NEAR MINT (see photos)
This album is a budget copy, for those that cannot afford the big dollars to buy a NEAR MINT copy. Still very playable and if you have copy with a badly damaged record and a good sleeve, then replacing it with this copy is the perfect solution
