I'm back with a nice auction of 50's blues & doo-wop 45s with a few really cool 60's soul records mixed in. There are several small labels represented here as well as some promos and several real rarities as well as early singles by more popular groups.

Release: The Constellations – I Didn't Know How To / Popa Daddy

Format: 45 rpm 7" vinyl record

Year: 1968

Notes: Pink label first pressing. Not a repress or repro. Runout numbers show BRS GS-8662 & 3 with Bestway in script letters. This a rare soul record by a Chicago group who was the backing band for Dionne Warwick. It was later picked up by the Northern Soul movement and original copies are hard to find. Absolutely killer tracks on both sides of this one. 

Record Condition: NM, The record itself is in fantastic shape & plays very well, no scuffs or scratches at all. Very clean with great original gloss. It simply can't have been played more more than a couple of time. It sounds fantastic. Labels are also very clean with no writing/tears/scuffs, but there is a drill hole. I believe this was factory done so I'm not counting off for it, in fact most of the photos I can find of this record show a drill hole. Please take that into account if & before you bid. This is a stellar record in phenomenal shape that doesn't come up for sale too often. 

Sleeve Condition: VG, original Amy sleeve has a some wrinkling, but not tears or writing. Nice color.

All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. I am an experienced grader and use the VJM grading system, but please see pictures as so much of this is subjective. These will be shipped in sleeves in a cardboard sandwich in an oversize box for maximum protection.
