Description
Here for auction is an original copy of Gaspar Cassado playing the "Six Suites For Solo Cello" by Bach....It's a 3 LP box set....Original 1960 issue.It seems the discs were manufactured in USA and information leaflet was printed in France with text in English and French.
This set is an ex UK library copy and has some sticker's on cover's and taped areas which I will describe.
Vinyl's. All discs are visually and aurally EX.I have played sections and there were no major problems.All discs have pretty silent surfaces with good sound (although the recording itself lacks some clarity I would say).There are a few light marks/scuffs over the six sides but these are non sounding.Side 1,band 1 has a mark which gives some sound but this settles down fairly quickly and is reasonably minor.Not bad vinyl at all.
Box is VG+ condition.Box is pretty sound and ok.Inside it has some library sticker's (seen In photo).Records are all in library inner sleeves.
Information insert is taped into inner sleeve and is EX.
Inner sleeves are plastic library one's and not original.
Label's EX .All three label's seem to be free of library marks etc..
