Description

This turntable was in fine condition when I bought it 20 years ago and has stayed that way.

The cosmetic flaw you can see next to the bearing housing in photograph four is a result of me having filed away about 1mm of metal to accommodate the round Shindo bearing I fitted to this turntable about 15 years ago. The ball bearing with which I later replaced the thrust pad in the original Garrard assembly allows it to spin just as freely as it did with the Shindo.
Photograph eight shows there is also a minor flaw in the paintwork where I didn't quite match the original paint in touching it up.
