Description
Wild Boys and Chorus, Madness Reigns b/w Outskirts of '73 on Insect 2213. Incredibly rare, crazed garage-psych outing from 1973. This is only the second copy of this record I've ever heard of, and the first one (like this one) turned up in the Detroit area, so I'm guessing it's a Detroit 45, though there's nothing in the dead wax or on the label to corroborate that. Way cool hand-drawn label, too. A-side is VG+, B-side (which is pretty terrible) is strong VG. A nutty, awesome record, and virtually unknown.
I am currently selling a nice batch of rare soul, popcorn, teen, and R&B 45s, so check my other auctions.
Grading
MINT- Perfect or virtually perfect.
VG+ Light marks, full shine, great looking record
VG Still fairly shiny but clearly a used record, light scratches, will play well but with some surface noise
VG- Played or used more heavily, lots of scratches, more pronounced surface noise, but still plays through okay
G Rough record
