Description

Xavier Records # 3004 - Dr. Free b/w Frank Rhoads Round by Slim Delgado & His Quintet w/ The Fables - original pressing - I think Slim Delgado may actually be Slim Gaillard, who wrote both tracks & also recorded for Xavier (his label?) - Frank Rhoads Round is Twist number about a San Diego Union journalist - overall it sounds like an early 60's garage band backing an older R&B performer w/ some nice surf-esque guitar work - the backing vocal group is The Fables, who recorded w/ Gaillard on Elgo.

Vinyl visually grades VG to VG+ w/ some light scuffs & scratches - there's a large area of scuffing on the B-side that's not audible on my system - it plays VG+ on my lo-fi system. Labels show very light wear (see pics).

Shipping is based on 7 ounces from 91941.
