Description
This is a great copy of ‘Damaged Goods/Love Like Anthrax/Armalite Rifle’ by Gang Of Four (1978).
Recorded at Cargo Studios, Rochdale on 28/29 June 1978 (16 track); there were two pressings, of which this is a first pressing (pre-EMI involvement ).
The sleeve reverse mentions "dp delga press limited" on the left hand fold but no catalogue number, the slot in the top of the sleeve is long with straight edges, and the record label is white with black text. No mentioning of EMI Music Ltd!
This particular copy has a NM sleeve, arguably mint. The careful 1st owner removed many of his singles from their sleeves at purchase, putting them in cardboard sleeves so that the originals are now pristine.
The disc hasn’t been play-tested, but only shows a couple of tiny marks at worst, none of which were feel-able with a finger – fair to call the package EX as a whole.
