2 LP'S GROUNDHOGS - Hoggin The Stage / Psycho Records, Psycho 24 / Original UK, 1984. Gatefold cover is VG++, a small crease on one corner, small light creases on back cover ; spine text still clear and undamaged, no cut, no drill hole, no ringwear, no writting ; record's is NM on side 1 and 2, VG++ on side 3 and 4, with no noticeable marks, clean label, with original inner sleeve ; limited edition EP is NM. Scarce in this condition.
Musicians : Tony McPhee on guitars and vocals, Ken Pustelnick on drums, Peter Cruickshank on bass.
Tracks : Cherry Red / Garden / Split Pt1 / Groundhog Blues / Eccentric Man / Recorded live at Leeds in 1971.
Mistreated / Still A Fool / Cherry Red / Split Pt2 / Recorded live in London in 1971.
Boogie With US / Your Love Keeps Me Alive / Live Right / I Love Miss Ogyny / Split Pt2 / Light My Light Pts 1 &2 / Recorded live in Stockholm in 1976.
Their best live LP. They cover the enormous breadth od McPhee's innovative style. The heavy blues rock period is well represented with tracks from 'Thank Christ For The Bomb' and 'Split'.
