Description

"Blues Obituary" was a transition LP for the Groundhogs, still attaining the electric blues of their debut "Scratching the Surface", but hinting about the Progressive sound they would follow from "Thank Christ For The Bomb" onwards. The band was a 3 piece powerhouse, lead by the guitar wizardry of Tony McPhee, and back with the rock solid rhythm section of Peter Cruickshank (Bass) and Ken Pustelnik (Drums).
