GRINGO - self titled

Very scarce UK 1st press with gleaming vinyl, original outer with minor blemishes, and truly excellent stereo sound quality throughout

Very good plus (VG+) condition vinyl - weighty, completely flat, retaining a beautiful jet black sheen, and it is only with very close inspection under a bright light that a few very wispy hairlines and equally innocuous paper scuffs can be identified on each side - each non-feelable and appearing to be purely superficial as the truly exceellent stereo sound quality testifies. (Actually I would grade the appearance of the vinyl as VG+ and the stereo sound quality as EX). The labels are in excellent plus (EX+) condition - just a few small and extremely faint spindle trails adjacent to the centre hole on each label, otherwise perfect.  The 1st press non-laminated Sensol Printing outer sleeve is in very good plus (VG+) condition, The edges remain firm with just a little mild and intermittend scuffing on the top edge and spine, nicely defined right angled corners with mild rubbing on the spine corners and some slight compression on the bottom spine corner, firm opening edges with no fraying, just the hint of some very mild ring wear towards the top and bottom edges on the front side, a small ex-sticker mark in the front side top left corner which has been coloured in, and the occasional small and light handling/storage mark on each of the front and reverse sides. All art work, colours and text remain vibrant and well defined with no unwanted writing, and of course the sleeve remains fully functional and very presentable. Truly excellent (EX) stereo sound quality with no sticks, skips, repeats, distortion, clicks, background crackle or interference - wonderful tone and crystal clear stereo reproduction with terrific sound quality throughout. You may come across just one or two random and very low level clicks no doubt caused by the odd speck of dust caught in the grooves through decades of storage...nothing really. Prog, psych, straightforward rock...a great listen from start to finish.  Comes with original excellent (EX) condition poly-lined blue and white inner sleeve with no edge splits, some mild creasing in the corners and some mild age discolouration towards one side edge, and correctly dated ("5-71"). Note that I always ship the vinyl in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original.
Scarce and sought after especially in such overall excellent condition as this, and the impressive stereo sound quality remains a true highlight.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
