US LP On Green Vinyl With AUTOGRAPHED Die-Cut White Sleeve

Signatures (Mike Dirnt / Tre Cool / ?)

Catalog Number: Reprise 1-45529-A

Near Mint Condition

On offer is a superb SIGNED PROMO clear green vinyl LP of Green Day’s major label debut. It is housed in the original generic white sleeve used by Reprise, so the signatures are BRILLIANT.

Mike and Tre Cool signed their names, but we leave the third signature a ? because it’s, well, a drawing, really. Billie Joe the artist?

This is a fantastically scarce item. Reprise Records circulated very few of these white-label promos. They had signed Green Day based on the success of 1992’s Kerplunk!, which was released on Lookout! and sold around 50,000 copies, a huge amount for an independent punk album.

Nobody could have predicted just how big Dookie would be – thanks to the legendary Green Day performance at Woodstock 1994. Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool made their new label VERY happy.
