The Greatest Show on Earth: The Going's Easy (original 1970 UK Harvest stereo LP - SHVL 783)
A rare original copy of this coveted prog-rock album featuring another fantastic gatefold sleeve by Hipgnosis. Unlike Horizons, this album has an unlaminated textured sleeve. Tough enough to track down in any condition (and then usually worn, floppy and dog-eared), this album is particularly hard to secure in the kind of condition offered here. Check out my photos - the spinal text says it all!
This lovely strong textured gatefold cover is in gorgeous condition with no tears, writing or damage of any kind and lovely sharp unfeathered opening edges. This cover shows only the lightest signs of handling with just a little rubbing along the top edge. I am certain you will struggle to find this sleeve in such strong VG+ condition.
The disc has perfect labels with only light spindle activity (and certainly no spindle wear) and just a few very light marks showing up on the vinyl when examined under harsh halogen lighting. This is a well cared for hardly played disc that comfortably warrants a grading of VG.
