Description
I combine shipping on multiple wins. All vinyl is cleaned prior to grading, which is performed under a bright LED light source. Expert packing. See my other auctions for more rock LP's.
True original 1986 German pressing on gray wax. Embossed cover. Includes printed inner sleeve.
ARTIST ~ Depeche Mode TITLE ~ Black Celebration LABEL (Catalog No.) ~ 1986 Mute (Stumm 26 / INT 146.818) VINYL CONDITION ~ VG- (LP has many marks, but none that are significant or can be felt with a fingernail. That being said, it plays with a lot of surface noise, especially during quiet passages. Not so audible during the louder passages, but still audible at times. No groovewear or anything like that. I cleaned it and double rinsed with distilled water on the VPI, but that didn't improve the sound. Still a playable and mostly enjoyable record, but know that it's going to play with surface noise, and at times it's a bit distracting.) SLEEVE CONDITION ~ VG+ (Fully readable spine, but there is a 1-inch split in the center. No splits to the top and bottom seams, no stains, no creases, no handwriting, no funky odors. Just some signs of light handling.)
I grade conservatively using the Goldmine Grading Guide. Scale is as follows: NM ... VG+ ... VG ... VG- ... Good ... Poor. Sometimes I will use VG++ to describe a record or sleeve that has a couple minor superficial marks yet is closer to NM than VG+.
Vinyl ships outside of the album cover, but remains inside the inner sleeve.
