GRAVY TRAIN "STAIRCASE TO THE DAY " ON DAWN RECORD LABEL DNLH 1 in STEREO.
AN EXTREMELY RARE RECORD IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.
RELEASED ON DAWN LABEL IN 1974.
EARLY PRESSING VINYL MATRIX DNLH 1A - 2AG and DNLH 1B- 2 AG.

An Absolutely Outstanding Album from the late 60's/early 70's Psych rock Band. Recorded and Released in 1974.
The record is in excellent condition, on the Dawn Label. Both label sides are excellent and show no signs of spindle marking or wear to the centre labels. The Labels are extremely clean, no writing or grubby marks. Made In England printed on label.
The Vinyl is very clean. The surface of the record is excellent, very high gloss shine, lovely condition, no visible surface marks, except for the very lightest of surface marks, which are only visible under very strong light, which is only to be expected ot this age. Record plays excellent, overall excellent sound quality. If extremely critical the very feintest of surface hiss detected to run ins,where needle drops before first track starts, but this could be in the pressing, All tracks play extremely well. Nice High Gloss Deep Black Vinyl and Classic Stereo sound. Fabulous Record.
All round excellent example of ths extremely rare Record.
The Gatefold Sleeve is in excellent condition. This is the matt finish lightly textured card sleeve which is in excellent near perfect condition. Being unlaminated would be very prone to wear, but this sleeve is in excellent condition. There are No creases, No tears, No writing, No dirty marks, No unwanted stickers or rips on the sleeve, clean and perfect condition.. All the outer edges are very sharp and totally intact and in excellent order with only very minimum of edge wear. The corners are excellent, minimal wear. The spine is rigid, nice wide spine, there is only the very slightest hint of any wear to surface of spine, and most important, all the text on the spine is totally intact. The opening edges to the sleeve are sharp and crease free. Inner gatefold very clean, no creases or wtiting, only blemish is 4 tiny surface tears to the very top which have been cleverly disguised with watercolour, certainly not at all detrimental to the sleeve. Overall a Lovely example of this rare classic record.
Record comes complete with the Original Paper Inner Sleeve.
