I'm a Deadhead and want all to know the mis-spellings and wrong names and omitted song tracks and incorrect concert dates are the fault of the recording folks who made this bootleg and not mine.

Back in the day some of us were not hooked up with each other and would seek out these "rare" records to expand our collection of the band's music. My approach was to buy the album and transfer it to 12" reel to reel tapes for playing. Then I preserved the records in the polyvinyl lined sleeves for archiving. In essence they were only played once then stored... until today.

Overall sound quality is pretty good for a bootleg. Phil's bass is really high in the mix but I kind of like it that way. Short album but really fun and lively. China Cat Sunflower actually starts off Side B though it's not listed on the cover. Enjoy!

I have copy with the 10-04-1970 on one record and stuff (Dark Star etc.) from Felt Forum 12/05/1971 on another. Bootlegs of bootlegs, I suppose. Before cassette trading.
