Hello,
This auction is for a STILL SEALED copy of the Grateful Dead's 'Dark Star' 180 gram vinyl LP that was released on Record Store Day 2012. This is a live recording from the Olympia Theatre in Paris, France from May 4, 1972 and features a 40 minute version of the song 'Dark Star' for the "First Time On Vinyl" according to the sticker on the front cover shrink wrap. This was a limited edition pressing of 4200 copies and the example being offered here is still sealed. The sealed cover appears to be in Near Mint condition with lightly bumped corner tips and the aforementioned sticker has some wrinkles & a tiny tear in it. Also, there is one of those small white plastic security devices stuck to the shrink wrap on the rear cover (please see the close-up photos).
Shipping in the U.S. is via USPS Media Mail and costs $4.00 and includes a brand new cardboard record mailer with two cardboard pads inside.
