Description
This is the rarest version of the We’re an American Band LP by Grand Funk. Super rare Los Angeles pressing on brown-orange-yellow swirl vinyl. Most colored vinyl copies are on a simple yellow vinyl or a vaguely orange or gold color, some rarer ones having a touch of a swirl, but none like this version, which was quite a limited colorway. Sterling pressing with the LA asterisk. Metallic Unipak cover with all four stickers still included. The disc is very nearly perfectly mint and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. The cover has a touch of wear but not too bad. The corners are all bumped in varying degrees. The upper right is creased a bit, as is the lower left. The lower right less so but still slightly bumped. The upper left is actually not bumped so much as slightly rubbed, with the metallic outer layer rubbing off a little. None are terrible. There is slight ringwear and a few surface scuffs but really it is very shiny and reflective and quite clean overall. The photos don’t show how nice it looks. Anyhow all in all it is an incredible copy, so rare to find this beautiful color… and a near perfect disc! Very hard to top this copy.
