 After finding in fame in England as a founder member of The Hollies and then settling in California where true fortune awaited him as one-fourth of CSN&Y, Nash made an auspicious solo album debut in 1971. With help from friends David Crosby, Dave Mason and Jerry Garcia among many others SONGS FOR BEGINNERS is an exemplary singer-songwriter effort, revealing in many cases Nash’s strong political passions.

Highlights include the introspective I USED TO BE A KING and MAN IN THE MIRROR plus anthems such as MILITARY MADNESS, CHICAGO, and WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD.
