GRAHAM BOND ORGANIZATION   “The Sound Of ‘65”
Columbia Records SX 1711
released 1965 - rare mono This record is in great shape considering its age and genre. I would grade it VG+.   It was definitely played, especially on one side, and then archived until now.   It plays pretty clean. Side one, has some audible pops (about a dozen each) during song #2 and #5, and some background noise between songs. Side two plays clean, some background noise/pops between songs and some quiet parts. There are machine stamped matrix numbers. The original UK black and blue COLUMBIA labels are very clean with light spindle marks only visible under angled light, no writing or wear either. The original front-laminated cover is VG+, and has some corner and ring wear and some laminate creasing.   It is the original flipback cover made by Garrad and Lofthouse.   There are definitely no split seams or major damage. It also comes with the original B&W EMI / Columbia inner sleeve, with one small split seam.

Dick Heckstall-Smith, a longtime British jazz / R&B scene musician.   Was in Blues Incorporated while Mick Jagger was also a member.

With an early version of "Train Time," which later wound up in the repertoire of the band - Cream.
