Description
On offer here is a very VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Graham Bond Organisation called 'Sound Of 65' and is a 1965 MONO UK 1st pressing!!!! THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE LP IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!! THIS IS THE 1965 1ST MONO PRESSING WITH A BLUE/BLACK COLUMBIA LABEL, A GARROD & LOFTHOUSE 'PATENTS PENDING' FLIPBACK COVER AND '33SX' ON BOTH LABELS!!!! THIS LP IS VERY HARD TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is an ORIGINAL Blue/Black Columbia UK 1st MONO pressing from 1965 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on thick quality vinyl. The Cat. No is 33SX 1711 on the ORIGINAL Blue/Black Columbia Label (see picture) and is a UK Mono 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Graham Bond at his best!!!! Any fan of Graham Bond, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in GREAT condition (see pictures) with NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! There is also a sticker tear on one label which looks to have been 'touched in' at some point. The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and looks ULTRA shiny and retains ALL of its ORIGINAL 'Just Pressed' look!!!! However under light there are a few hairline type marks, a couple of tiny marks, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays EVEN BETTER than the visual!!!! It plays with only a few LOW LEVEL clicks/pops in places, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade Very Good+!!!! The record also looks to have been cleaned at some point. Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL Emitex inner sleeve!!!! The MEGA RARE 1st Press Garrod & Lofthouse 'Patents Pending' FLIPBACK Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear, only a few light creases (cover is still flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! The unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!! This cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE MONO 1ST FLIPBACK PRESSING GREAT CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT!!!!
HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this MEGA RARE LP!!!!
