THE GRAHAM BOND ORGANISATION - The Sound Of '65 (Columbia 33SX1711) UK mono LP 1965
Incredibly hard to find album featuring Jack Bruce & Ginger Baker later of Cream.
This is a 1st press (1N stampers), blue/black labels & "sold in UK" label text.
The labels are clean and shiny, with no pen marks, stickers or sticker marks. The spindle hole has no wear, but there are a couple of spindle marks visible under strong light.
The vinyl does show some wear, I have graded down to VG, for a lesser album I may have went to VG+ but I realise this is an investment level purchase. There are some light marks and general signs of use, but nothing major, no deep scratches to speak of, and it plays really well - obviously there is the occasional light background clicks, noticeable between tracks, but as the music is hearty R&B there's no problem in enjoying the great sound.
It comes with an original poly-lined inner bag in superb condition with no pen marks, tears, splits or major creases.
The sleeve is front laminated, with flip back reverse, printed by G&L. It has a strong unbroken spine and the edges are intact with no tears, pen marks or major creases.
There is some minor browning on the unlaminated back (almost inevitable on an album that is 48 years old), but it is otherwise clean.
The laminate is substantially intact with only a couple of light creases. There is a hint of ringwear under strong light. There are no stickers, sticker marks or pen marks.
