Super rare 1st pressing of this Jazz / Beat LP.
From the personal collection of the Dick Jordan, manager of the legendary Klooks Kleek (In which half of the songs on this album were recorded) and personal friend of the band.
The signature is inscribed: “To Dick, Best Wishes, Jack Bruce”.

“A good assortment of '60s material that Bond did not put out during that decade, and which remains unavailable on any other release. Nine of the 12 tracks date from 1966, with Bond accompanied by Dick Heckstall-Smith on sax and Jon Hiseman on drums (Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker had by this time left to join Cream) …solid jazzy R&B with that aura of faint menace unique to Bond's mid-'60s work. His singing is particularly effective in its drawn-out anguish on "It's Not Goodbye" and "Springtime in the City" has those uneasy descending chord progressions and creepy R&B black-mass organ that were Bond specialties.”

GRADING
SLEEVE: VG+
The unlaminated gatefold sleeve is in nice clean condition. The all-important front is nice and clean with no wear or damage. The Signature is pristine. There is some light intermittent edge wear and a c ouple of very small patches or ring wear to the rear. The inside of the gatefold is wonderful with just a little foxing.
RECORD: VG+
Under bright light the records show a couple of very light sleeve removal marks. There are no feelable or substantial marks and nothing that should affect playback.
The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
