GOREFEST - False LP (clear vinyl with red/white splatters)
''False'' is a true old school Death Metal classic as it is in the book.
After the terrific debut album ''Mindloss'' from 1991, the Dutch death metal commando GOREFEST had the reputation of becoming one of the most powerful & best European death metal bands from the mainland.
With their 2nd masterpiece ''False'' from year 1992, this suggestion was to be engraved
with powerful letters in the deep-black Death Metal memorial stone.
The album with its 9 tracks is also living proof that GOREFEST always acted with a strong sense of melodies, catchy variety and great rhythm changes despite the powerful and furious Death Metal blasts.
In particular, the dosage of the all powerful riffs works extremely well, in addition there are first-class, double-part lead-guitars.
Stylistically, not so much has changed compared to the amazing predecessor ''Mindloss''. GOREFEST still commute between hyper-fast or slowly-grooving parts. In view of all these qualities, there is no way around counting ''False'' among the absolute classics of European death metal creation.
Anyone who appreciates Death Metal not only in its appearance as a stubborn ICE hit blast, will fervently adore this masterpiece from 1992.
The 2019's re-edition on limited vinyl comes in clear wax with red/white splatters in gatefold cover.
