Featuring Joseph Rosbotham on flute & tenor sax, Malcolm Grundy on guitar, Linda Rothwell on vocals, John Williamson on bass and Eric Eastman on drums, vibes etc.
This is a fabulous album that sold virtually nothing on release and is now an almost impossible to find prog rock classic. Four dodgy looking bearded geezers and a frantic female vocalist wind their way through eight self-penned tracks finishing with Davy Graham's 'Maajun'. A bit of mellow rock, some blues, some funky jazzy instrumental improvisation - a bit of everything. 'Hunters Song' in particular sounds like a ten minute out-take from Peter Green's 'End of the Game'.
The album is in excellent condition with some minor surface marks but nothing serious (I'm listening to it as I'm listing it), there's the occassional minor pop on the odd queiter moments but no jumps or anything bad. Both labels are in totally pristine condition.
The un-laminated sleeve is in pretty good condition although it does show signs of age - a bit of minor creasing but no splits or tears. It has the original shiny gold price sticker (44/-) attached which has been changed to 21/-, no doubt after it didn't sell! Further prices have been stamped (using an ink pad) to the left of the fag on the front and across the vocalist's forehead of all places!
