Description
Grab a 7-inch slab of 1980s' music memorabilia from GOLGOTHA
The Dangerous Games EP released in 1984 by British rock band Golgotha. It was an independent release on Goth Records (cat no: Goth 002 A/B) and few copies made it into the wild. Like, a few hundred.
The item has not yet been played hence, aside from a little dust that's crept into the paper sleeve (removable with a proper disc brush (which I don't have) or simply by playing), it's in perfect nick. The sleeve has yellowed a little with age, so you might want to treat the disc to a new jacket.
Side 1
Dangerous Games (K Foster)
Old England's Green (K Foster)
Side 2
Air (JS Bach, arr K Foster)
The Great Divide (K Foster, F Dawson, A French)
Golgotha, not to be confused with a certain Spanish band, or an album by Kapein, carried on rocking until the 1990s. Two albums followed Dangerous Games: Unmaker of Worlds and Symphony in Extremis, the latter of which is being reworked in the 20-teens by Doktor Fell.
Former members Andy French, bassist Mark 'Jonah' Jones and drummer Dave Hickman went on to form The Hollowkind and have an album titled Red Shift currently on sale at every online outlet worth its salt. Bach died in 1750, but it wasn't until the early 19th Century that people began to really get his stuff.
