Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Dutch Beat, Prog, Psych and Jazz records that are form my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare first 1st Dutch pressing of Golden Earring – Seven Tears on Polydor, cat no. 2344 008, with gatefold cover and glued-in booklet.
The record is in VG condition, there are some non-sounding hairlines and there is a small sounding scratch that starts at the end of track one on side two and ends in the first part of track two on side 2. The labels are in VG+ condition, there are a few spindle marks and some very slight wear along the spindle holes on both sides.
The gatefold cover (with booklet) is in VG condition, there is only some light wear along the edges and there is a small fold on the front and a somewhat slightly bigger one on the back. Besides the normal handling and storage wear there is nothing wrong with this cover; no writing, no rips or tears or other damage.
This is a very rare 1st Dutch pressing of Golden Earring’s 1971 Seven Tears album. The fragile gatefold cover with glued-in booklet wore out very quickly, but this one is still in presentable condition. There are not many Golden Earring records from the early 1970’s that are still in a neat condition left on the market, so this is your chance to own a great looking (and sounding) copy of this album.
