GNIDROLOG “Lady Lake” TOP! Original 1972 UK Prog Psych lp M-

1972/UK/RCA Records SF 8322….. here’s a clean original pressing of this ultra rare prog lp. The cover is in solid clean condition with light corner wear, light shelf and ring wear, the bottom seam has light wear, near perfect fully legible spine, otherwise the cover is solid and clean with no splits, tears or writing. The vinyl is in glossy Excellent condition with only very few super light inaudible hairlines. The record looks and plays clean with very light noise occasionaly and plays with punchy clean fidelity! Includes the M- insert. A very nice copy of this rare lp! Please check my auctions for other psych, garage and rock lp’s. Good luck and thanks for looking!

Lady Lake is the second studio album of the British progressive rock band, Gnidrolog. The album was recorded in the London Morgan Studios in 1972 and released that same year. The album was re-issued in the UK in 1999 and in Japan in 2009. The band retains its uniqueness by not using keyboards and using the piano only on "Same Dreams". The use of the flute is dominant in tracks such as "I could never be a soldier" and is as distinctive as Ian Anderson's flute in Jethro Tull. The songs in the album deal with a variety of concepts varying from pacifism in "I could never be a soldier", which is almost an intimate conversation between the artists and soldier, to pilgrimage with "Ship" and Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake with the title track, Lady Lake. The album cover seems to associate the title with Swan Lake.

GRADING

MINT: I consider only New Unplayed or Sealed items.

M- or Mint Minus, very clean with clean visual appearance and sound, there may be a couple of light inaudible hairline scuffs or such and will be mentioned in the listing, a Mint- record looks and plays clean. Same for the cover. Very clean with no delete or other issues.

EXCELLENT: still very collectable for most, visually and sonicly clean. A handful of light inaudible scuffs, or hairlines. Cover will be clean with little wear, or delete. No splits.

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal wear, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have a few minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much. Cover will have slight shelf wear, and or delete, minor split.

VG+ the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects.
