Description

Glenn Gould's incredible first recording of the Goldberg Variations, on original 1956 Columbia 6-Eye ML 5060. This copy is in magnificent condition. I call it E+ instead of NM because there are some very light scuffs and signs of handling but they are superficial and mostly don't affect the play. It plays nearly perfectly, with only very occasional isolated faint tick, maybe... barely even that. Plays NM. It is looks and sounds absolutely lovely. The quiet parts are quiet and the grooves are entirely unworn and clear as a bell. The cover is likewise in lovely shape, with just minor signs of age and shelfwear. The cover artwork was attached to the cardboard sleeve just a little crooked, but that is a factory error, not damage. Anyhow this is a top copy, absolutely beautiful.
