Description

Here is a super clean and great sounding, VERY GOOD PLUS PLUS (VG++) condition original 1965 45 rpm pressing of GLADYS KNIGHT AND THE PIPS performing their much sought after early Northern Soul Deep Groove Floor Fillers "STOP AND GET A HOLD OF MYSELF" and "WHO KNOWS". The A-Side, "STOP AND GET A HOLD OF MYSELF" was written by DISCO pioneer VAN McCoy (Of THE HUSTLE fame). This highly collectible single was released on the MAXX Records label (Release code 334). This came from a massive original owner collection of high grade Psychedelic, Garage Rock, Northern Soul and Freak Beat singles from the mid-to-late 1960s. I will be listing the entire collection on eBay in the coming weeks. This impressive collection includes hundreds of obscure and much sought after genre singles that were acquired by a former Northern Ontario radio station employee who hosted the local afternoon rock show.
