Description

THE GLADIOLAS

"Little Darlin'" c/w "Sweetheart, Please Don't Go"

Original 1957 UK stock issue.

I am a former record collector in the process of liquidating the bulk of the collection.

Record details:

Label: LONDON (silver label print)

Catalogue number: 45-HLO 8435, tracks as above

Side 1 matrix number: MSCF-1715-1C

Side 2 matrix number: MSCF-1716-2C

Record condition:

Label: clean and clear with no marks or handwriting on either side.  The A-side has a small tear near the catalogue number made when the triangular centre was removed many years ago.  The record comes with a later replacement centre.

Vinyl: visually graded as VG as per Rare Record Price Guide "The record has obviously been played many times, but there is no major deterioration in sound quality, despite having visible surface marks and the occasional light scratch".  Both sides retain a very good vinyl shine however both sides have numerous surface marks and paper scuffs - visible in the photos - however playback is not affected in any way.

Sleeve: original period blue & white London company sleeve in EX condition - see photos.

Sound quality: perfect sound reproduction, much better than the average record in VG condition.  Negligible surface noise or crackling during playback at high volume.  Please contact me if you wish to receive a video clip of either side being played.  This record was tested on a Sansui SR-2050C turntable.

**Please let me know when the record arrives via Ebay feedback.  I will then leave feedback for you**
