Description
Jokers Wild – “Why do fools fall in love” / “Don’t ask me why” (same recording volume input as "Why do...") / “Don’t ask me why” (I've raised the recording volume, when passing to my computer), UK 2 track White label test/private pressing original (50 copies made), Record: VG (not beat up in any way, nor heavily scratched. Has some scuffs and lines, but nothing too deep. Plays very well - listen to how it plays by clicking on the title. One side has lower volume due to pressing).
Perhaps the rarest pre-Pink Floyd and Gilmour recordings ever to have made it to vinyl stage – only 50 copies pressed back in 1965 and as far as I know very few have turned up. Most were given to friends (like this) or sold at concerts, as well as sending to record companies. Matrix is stamped and it has the anti-skating "toothed" edge around the label… check the scans and enlarge the ones with the entire record to see. I’ve heard that Gilmour himself wrote the titles on the majority of the labels, but can’t say it for a fact. Label is signed by David Altham (vocals & guitar) and John (Johnny) Gordon (guitar). It’s actually written on wikipedia that he was called Johnny.
I've had this confirmed as an original by e-mail, by Charles Beteram (maker of the fantastic Pink Floyd on 45 book) + in person by Ian Shirley (chief editor of RC), who also checked with other RC contributors specialized in PF and Gilmour.
MATRIX CAN BE SEEN IN THE SCAN OF THE ENTIRE RECORD (see the scan of the entire record + close-up photos taken and added 26th of May) - MATRIX IS RBS-0031 (NOT RSR-0031 AS ERRONOUSLY STATED IN RC PRICE GUIDE).
Origin of the recoord: it comes from a Swedish woman called Ragnhild (not Radnhilld, like on the label) who travelled to England during the 60’s for studying and pleasure and had a brief contact with David and Johnny, who gave this to her.
My name is Oscar Richt. I was in contact with RC Magazine a couple of years ago to get the matrix number changed, but the didn't mention it in the article, nor did they change the info in the RC Guide. I'm also an official contrubutor to RC (check 2012), but not for PF items, but for rare 60's and 70's psych and alike.
All records are sent in new poly-lined white paper sleeve with the company-/picture sleeve apart.

Don't forget to USE A SNIPER... everyone else is.
Grading is VISUAL and goes: M- / EX+ / EX / VG+ /VG / VG- / G... EX+ is not entire step in the grading scale, but a tiny bit under M- and much better than a standard EX, which is already great copy. I use a strong halogenic/UV lamp when I grade and it makes me see more than I wish sometimes;). All records should be at least very good playing copies regardless the visual condition given, unless otherwise clearly stated. Some copies play better than they look, others don’t, so please read the description and listen to the sound files. Also – there might be something in the sound that I’ve missed when recording, so do check to make sure. Any questions regarding playback or if you want me to double check something – please mail:=)
