Conditions : hardbound cover is laminated on the front where are visible some slight creases. In addition to a few minimal traces of wear, NEAR MINT / disc has some cosmetic rubs which do not affect play at all, NEAR MINT

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a turntable Rega Planar 3 with a moving magnet cartridge Grado Statement 1. I listen EPs and singles 45  rpm. on a turntable Thorens TD 166 BC with a MM cartridge Goldring 1006. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : musiche composte e dirette da Gianni Ferrio. Composizioni di alta classe con una predilezione per il funk e il jazz che troviamo pure combinati insieme in qualche traccia. Non è facile utilizzare in maniera ottimale questi due generi musicali per delle atmosfere sonore generalmente piuttosto cupe che riflettono perfettamente dramma e giallo della trama del film. Fra i solisti Al Korvin (Alberto Corvini) alla tromba, Antonello Vannucchi organo e piano elettrico e Baldo Maestri al clarinetto sebbene quest’ultimo non sia citato nei crediti dell’album. Il primo brano " I Giorni Che Ci Appartengono " ha una buona struttura ritmica ed un bel assolo blueseggiante della tromba, " Milano Rhythm And Blues ", mostra belle sonorità soul-funky con ritmica veloce e assoli di chitarra e trombone, " Il "Duro" Scappa ", ancora suoni funky con tromba e batteria in primo piano, " L’Inchiesta " probabilmente il miglior brano funk dell’album insieme a " La Chiave Del Mistero ". Nel primo assistiamo alle grandi improvvisazioni dell’Hammond mentre nel secondo Vannuchi é al piano elettrico ben assistito da tromba e batteria. Entrambi i brani sono caratterizzati da una ritmica molto vivace. " Donatella " è un raffinato tema jazz dall’andamento lento con preziosi assoli ed interventi di sax tenore, clarinetto, vibrafono e trombone, " Incompatibilità " altro brano funky dal frenetico andamento sottolineato da un efficace drumming e con potenti suoni di Hammond.

Notes : music composed and conducted by Gianni Ferrio. First-class compositions with funk and jazz tendency, both even combined in some tracks. It’s not easy to use in an optimal way these two music genres in the matter of sound atmospheres generally rather dark and perfectly reflecting drama and crime of the film plot. Among the soloists Al Korvin aka Alberto Corvini on trumpet, Antonello Vannucchi on Hammond organ and electric piano and clarinetist Baldo Maestri although the latter is uncredited on the sleeve notes. The first track " I Giorni Che Ci Appartengono " has fast paced and lively structure with a nice bluesy trumpet solo, " Milano Rhythm And Blues " from beautiful soul-funky sounds with an up-tempo arrangement and guitar and trombone solos, " Il "Duro" Scappa " funky sonorities again with trumpet and drums in the foreground, " L’Inchiesta " probably the album’s best funky track along with " La Chiave Del Mistero ". The first tune is characterized by Hammond masterful improvisations while in the second Vannuchi plays electric piano well supported by trumpet and drums. Both tracks have a very lively pace. " Donatella " is a refined jazz theme from the slow development with precious solos and performances by tenor sax, clarinet, vibes and trombone, " Incompatibility " another funky track has a hectic pace underlined by remarkable drumming and Hammond powerful sounds.
