My final copy. I've sold three of these collectors's items and this is the last one in my collection. We are looking for more but for right now this is it!
BOSTON ROCK & ROLL TREASURES series....The original "1980's Rock & Roll" b/w "Cheri Love Affair" with pink "picture sleeve" (one photo of GG on the back; letters used on the front cover (see photo); 45 is in perfect condition, 45 cover has some creases), includes a bonus 8 1/2 x 11 poster and additional free Dutch Courage 45 RPM as a bonus (see description for details). ------------------------------------------------ 1980's Rock 'n' Roll b/w Cherie Love Affair ------------------------------------------- Extremely rare 45 RPM with a pink paper sleeve on Destiny Records by G.G. Allin & The Jabbers. Produced by GG Allin; Associates Larry Feeney & Tom Bartlett. Engineered by Larry Feeney. Recorded at Destiny Studio. Mixed at North Country Sound in New Hampshire. PHotography by Suzi Chaser. ----------------------------Special Thanks to Tim Horrigan of Varulven Records' act "Dutch Courage" for piano on 1980's Rock 'n' Roll. This record is dedicated to the late -Brian Jones-. GG looks very respectable in a white shirt with the first button open and a suit jacket. Bottom right hand side of the paper picture sleeve is a bit wrinkled with slight wrinkles on two other corners; the 45 RPM is in excellent shape. Sold THREE of these 1980 Cheri Love Affair discs, found another one. I am looking for more but right now this is it, my own personal copy which hasn't been played to my knowledge. It looks unplayed. GG Allin performed at a concert with The Count and The Machines in Paradise, Commonwealth Ave, Boston, Massachusetts. He did something obscene with a bottle of beer and sprayed the audience. Keep in mind, Dutch Courage is pure pop while GG is GG. The Dutch Courage single sounds nothing like latter day GG Allin. Tim Horrigan played on both discs, and that's the connection.
