FROM THE BOSTON ROCK & ROLL TREASURE'S SERIES......at an extremely reduced rate for this auction only .....................There is a reserve price that is lower than the $4000.00 and up posted on the Buy It Now site...................this is an extremely Rare single on Destiny Records with GG's original band *THE JABBERS* and with the PINK sleeve...............1980's Rock & Roll b/w Cheri Love Affair 45rpm.....originally available only on the 1980 GG ALLIN AND THE JABBERS Debut Album ~ Always Was,Is And Always Shall Be~~~ on The Father of Punk ~David Peel's ORANGE RECORDS~~.....................(which I am also listing with more GG ALLIN EP's, LP's & Singles)........This record is produced by GG Allin, Associates Larry Fenney & Tom Bartlett, Engineered by Larry Fanney.....Recorded at Destiny Studio, Wilmington, Massachusetts & Mixed at North Country Sound, Auburn New Hampshire with Photography by Suzi Chaser....................................Special Thanks To Tim Horrigan of Dutch Courage for piano on 1980's Rock & Roll............There were many other people involved in this early recording including GG's brother Merle, Allen Chapple, Rob Basso, Johnny (Red) Riot...and many more incredible and groundbreaking musicians and friends......GG dedicated this record to the late Brian Jones............... The record is rated M/VG+ and the pink sleeve is in excellent shape, a great addition to any GG Allin fan's collection...........Kev, I mean GG was a friend of mine, he was always stopping over my place because I usually had food and always had beer & whiskey. The incredible thing about GG was that growing up in Vermont he was a goody two shoes...no drugs, no alcohol, no smoking, honor student....then one day someone slipped a hit of acid into his coca cola and Presto- Change-oh!....GG Allin was born and this world would never be the same..........His early work was a lot different than the songs he wrote latter in his life....the songs were punk but had a pop feel to them. Remember that Dutch Courage was pure pop, while GG was ....unpredictable, Tim Horrigan played on both this single and his first album and that's the connection.............At live gigs GG started grabbing chicks by the hair and throwing them around, pissing on people and taking ex-lax and spraying the crowd with his dodo, we stopped many a boyfriend who wanted to kill him........the real fans always showed up and they even wore raincoats just in case. He had always promised that he would kill himself on stage, on Halloween...but he never got the chance, he died June 28, 1993 of an overdose of heroin.
