G.G. Allin - "Always Was, Is and Always Shall Be" LP Sleeves (15) / Orange Records (5); Blitz Records (10); 1980 / Oversize Record Mailer, Hand-addressed by G.G. Allin to David Peel, 1983 

From the estate of David Peel.  David Peel (1942-2017), singer-songwriter, band frontman, founder and manager of Orange Records, released G.G. Allin's first few singles and his first LP.  Several Allin items recently emerged from Peel's estate and are offered here.

From the estate emerged this strange box of 15 sleeves for Allin's first LP.  10 are for the European Blitz issue, 5 for the Orange original.  They were (and are) housed in an oversized record mailer sent from Allin to David Peel (NH to NYC) in September of '83 (the postmark is still legible).  The mailer was hand-addressed by Allin.  The Blitz sleeves are immaculate, the Orange sleeves are VG+ (just a touch darkened at the edges).  Fascinatingly, Allin (there can really be only one culprit in question) reddened the cornea of his eyes on the rear cover photo of the Orange sleeves.  Devilish work, indeed!  We thought of selling the sleeves off one by one, but decided to keep them intact with the original mailer.  A secondary mailer will be provided to house the works in transit.
