For instant sale is an excellent condition copy of a rarely-seen US pressing from 1981 of the 'CITY TO CITY' album by GERRY RAFFERTY. It is on the MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LABS label, has the catalogue number MFSL 1-058 and is part of their 'ORIGINAL MASTER RECORDINGS' series. Mastered at half speed from the original stereo master tape and pressed on high quality vinyl these records are renowned for their sound quality. The record comes with the original static and dust-free inner sleeve. The original MFSL inserts are also present. The overall condition is at least excellent. It looks like it has hardly been played and would be a superb addition to any record collection. The sleeve is in excellent condition with hardly any marks but there is some wear to the top edge. The spine is sharp, clear and fully readable with just a small amount of wear at the corners. Please study all the photos to see the condition for yourself. The labels are in excellent condition with only a few 'spindle trails' indicating that the record has hardly been played. The record is also in really excellent condition with just a few very light surface marks. It plays superbly with hardly any surface noise. I really think you would be hard-pressed to find a better example of this fine album. The record will be wrapped in bubblewrap before posting to ensure that it does not get damaged on its journey.
