Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.
We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.
We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status! Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... As you can see, this vinyl is the ORIGINAL UK DECCA/TRANSATLANTIC pressing from 1971
- Stored from new this LP has seen JUST A FEW plays only, and remains in pristine condition everywhere.
THIS REALLY IS A STUNNING PLAY COPY- WITH HARDLY ANY STATIC, AND NO JUMPS OR STICKS
This HEAVYWEIGHT pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings.
A COUPLE OF spider lines around the centre hole, no wear to the hole.
There is barely any light whisp lines, and no little hairlines- superb!
Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years, a few little dust specs are on the vinyl when we slid it for checking..
On playing through we heard the tiniest of lead in static in the dead grooves and the odd littel crackle in a few spots.. all the quiet tracks were superb, and nothing we felt spoiled the listening plasure at all
OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

Correct first UK issued earliest sleeve -with the THIN SPINE , STICKER ON FRONT & RCA STICKER ON BACK

This is in SUPER condition, quite amazing how it has survived so clean. We all know how hard it is finding this sleeve in decent condition as it is so fragile and prone to wear.
Remarkably asides from some light spider lines over the edges and spine this sleeve is REALLY CLEAN
NO RING WEAR OR THAT DREADED 'WHITE RUB' ANYWHERE!!
The edges have some light tip rub and a light corner crease on the bottom spine.
No powdery white ringwear - Some light ring press.
The spine edge has some light rubon the titles, with just a couple of small 'pinched spider lines' but no squash or white rub!
The open edge remains in sharp condition with just some light tip dink either end.
Its a rare one to find, so this is a cracking LP to bid for.
