IF BIDDING FROM OUTSIDE THE UK THEN PLEASE NOTE THAT I USE EBAY'S GSP FOR POSTING. THESE COSTS CAN BE HIGH. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO PAY THESE PRICES THEN PLEASE DO NOT BID. However I am willing to listen to requests to post outside of Ebay through signed-for and tracked. I would recommend using Ebay though as they cover taxes, customs lost items etc.

Unfortunately I need to cash in on some of my record collection to help fund my retirement so.......................... Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable For auction here is a very nice copy of Georgie Fame with the classic "Somebody Stole My Thunder" coupled with "Entertaining Mr Sloane" and released on the CBS record label 5035 in 1970. A very collectible record in a nice condition i.e. not trashed. This is a very acceptable copy until an excellent or mint copy comes along.
It comes in a standard CBS sleeve which is is a VG+ condition.
Visually the vinyl is in an VG to VG+ condition with some light marks. There is a nice sheen to the vinyl. It could probably do with a professional clean to be honest to bring it up to a better condition.
The labels are clear of stickers and writing. There are some spindle marks but the spindle hole is in an excellent condition with hardly any wear.
Audibly it plays VG to VG+ with background noise on the B side. The A side plays really good (VG+) with some very light background noise which is generally drowned out by the music.
For playback I use an Ortofon cartridge on a Technics SL1210MK2 through a Denon DRA 375RD amplifier to Wharfdale 3200 speakers.

I try to adhere as closely as possible to the Record Collector Magazine grading system which is shown below as a guide. I do ad + and - to gradings for intermediate conditions. Any record described as 'Mint' will mean 'Unplayed'.
RECORD COLLECTORS GRADING SYSTEM
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-fillerprice rating
