Description
"Going Home" was released by Georgie Fame in 1971 on the CBS orange label and I bought my copy soon after. It has the matrix numbers S-64350-A1 and S-64350-B1. This is a rare vinyl record on which Georgie Fame sings twelve mellow original songs with his wonderful and unique jazzy, bluesy voice. In the 60's and 70's Keith Mansfield was a major figure in the British music scene and helped produce the album with Martin Clarke.
The condition of the vinyl is excellent as it has hardly been played since I recorded it to tape shortly after purchasing it. The sound is excellent and it plays very well with no skipping or jumping. There seems to be hardly any surface noise or sound deterioration after all these years. There are no spindle marks.
The front cover is in excellent condition having no creases or marks. There is no wear at the opening edge. The back cover is likewise in excellent condition and is unmarked. The writing on the spine is clearly legible.
The album comes with its original inner sleeve showing other CBS releases on 8 track cartridge and cassette. It is in good condition with no folds, splits or tears.
I am willing to post abroad. Please contact me for postage costs.
