Background noise is due to age and contact with inner sleeve. A good professional cleaning session can upgrade to a full EX, i think.

Grading: "EX (Excellent): the record may show minor signs of having been played (ultra light marks, ultra light scuffs etc) or simply from contact with the inner sleeve. The record may have some very slight surface hiss or rustle or a few minor tics here and there, but nothing that will affect playing and certainly no serious marks or scratches and no skips or jumps.”
