Description
Hi! You're looking at a very good condition vinyl LP (with a superb condition cover) which is a FIRST PRESSING made in The United States and a copy of "Faith," the first solo album of singer GEORGE MICHAEL. The LP is a 1987 Columbia Records issue with the serial number OC 40867 on the spine, C 40867 and AL 40867 on the labels and 40867-S1 on the Hype sticker--it's an ORIGINAL ISSUE made in The United States.
This LP is in very good condition (with a SUPERB condition cover) and the vinyl is in VG+ condition with a longish moderate scuff that can be felt slightly in a couple of spots on the later part of side one which may produce a few scattered pops and a few lighter and smaller scuffs that should not significantly affect play but no other significant flaws; the original LP-sized insert poster with lyrics on the reverse side is in excellent shape with a couple of slight scuffs and light wrinkles, and the cover is in NEAR MINT condition and still in the ORIGINAL FACTORY SHRINKWRAP fully intact except of a clean opening edge opening with the original promotional Hype sticker on the upper left corner outside the shrinkwrap and the cover has just extremely faint ringwear and a couple of slight scuffs on the outer surface of the shrinkwrap but NO other significant imperfections--it's NOT a cutout! The original inner sleeve is also included and excellent shape with a couple of light creases.
Vinyl Grading Standards (unless otherwise indicated, LPs are visually graded)
Mint (or M) – Sealed and effectively perfect with no signs of wear or ever having been played.
Near Mint -- A record with only the slightest evidence of ever having been handled.
Very Good Plus Plus (VG++) A very clean record that has no marks aside from slight scuffs and abrasions caused by removal from a paper inner sleeve or perhaps a few marks on the label caused by a turntable spindle.
Very Good Plus (VG+) A record that has had a number of plays and may have some superficial scuffs, possibly mild to moderate spindle marks and / or possibly hairline scratches on the vinyl, which may produce some intermittent pops and possibly very light background noise.
Very Good (VG) A record that has generally been well cared for, but has seen a fair amount of play, with some scuffing. hairline scratches, spindle marks and / or light scratches. Should play through well, with the possibility of more pops and more background noise.
Very Good Minus (VG-) A record with significant scuffs, scratches, and spindle marks that should play through with moderate pops and surface noise, possibly of some duration.
Good (G) A record with will play through, but with significant pops, substantial background noise, and possibly intermittent skipping.
Poor (P) A record with MAJOR issues that will interfere with play, and will possibly be unplayable in part due to damage (I'll only offer an LP in this condition if it's an extreme rarity and / or for cover art display purposes).
A fantastic find, and a beautiful copy of this vinyl LP!
