Description

This record is in VG+ condition with only superficial marks on the surface. PLEASE NOTE: It was purchased and stored away for 30+ years. It was not purchased to be played. I say this because even when picture discs are brand new, they are not of the highest quality compared to their regular vinyl counterparts. It has been play tested and some amount of surface noise can be detected but this is NOT due to wear. It's all in the manufacturing process. Rather than pressing directly into pure vinyl, picture discs are made from a sandwich of materials to achieve a full color printed effect. ... The result is a vinyl record that typically suffers from increased surface noise and overall lower-quality sound.

"Careless Whisper" is a 1984 single by George Michael co-written by Andrew Ridgeley (credited to Wham! featuring George Michael in the US), released by Epic in the UK, Japan, and other countries; and by Columbia in North America. The song was George Michael's first solo single although he was still performing in Wham! at the time (the song is included on Wham!'s album Wham! - Make It Big. The song features a prominent saxophone riff, and has been covered by a number of artists since its first release. It was released as a single and became a huge commercial success on both sides of the Atlantic. It reached number one in nearly 25 countries, selling about six million copies worldwide.
