Description
From 1968 on the UK UNITED ARTISTS record label comes this stunning Stereo LP by "George Martin" entitled " British Maid " Featuring instrumental versions of various popular hits from the era by George Martin and his Orchestra " (SULP 1196 Stereo). Twelve great tracks including 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, I Am The Walrus, To Sir With Love, Itchycoo Park, Whiter Shade Of Pale,Hole In My Shoe and Theme One (which he wrote specially for BBC's Radio One Service)'. Housed in a front laminated Garrod & Lofthouse flipback sleeve which is in excellent condition with the original offer price sticker still on the front (see pic). The record is in near Mint condition with no marks/scuffs or scratches, just a few spindle trails on each label. Matrix numbers end 1 G on both sides. Comes in original poly lined inner sleeve. A nice copy of a scarce and long deleted LP.
