George Martin and His Orchestra - 'Yesterday / Another Girl'. R 5375.

George Martin and His Orchestra 1965 UK DEMO pressing of 'Yesterday / Another Girl' 7" single. Released on the 12th November 1965, both these tracks composed by Lennon/McCartney were taken from The Beatles 'Help' album released just three months earlier. It is offered here in wonderful EXCELLENT+ condition.

These initial early demonstration pressings would have been given out to important reviewers and radio stations prior to the release date. Both labels state: 'DEMONSTRATION RECORD NOT FOR SALE' and the release date of '12.11.65'. The vinyl is housed within the original Parlophone Records sleeve which is in particularly nice condition.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. 7XCE 18335-1 1 R KT

Side 2. 7XCE 18336-1 1 R KT

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT+ condition.

Both labels are in EXCELLENT- condition. BUT both sides has a small tick towards the center.

The sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition. A great example of this original sleeve.
