RECORDS CONDITION: MINT/MINT MINUS- Only a couple sides played at random to check the quality of the pressing!  The Vinyl looks as good as new!!

BOOK & COVER CONDITION:  Both the 63 Page Insert Boolet & The Box are in beautiful condition I guess you would call them Mint or Mint minus since the item is not still sealed.

George Harrison pre-dated the first "Live Aid" charity by nearly twenty years by arranging a concert for the war
and famine stricken, innocent people suffering in Bangla Desh. He called on his friends to appear for a charity
event unheard of then, in 1971 the nearest thing had been the free festivals begun in the late 1960's when artists
performed without fees. George's deep respect among the world's greatest musicians transcended any connection
to his former band, their response produced one of the most incredible line-up's of the 20th century. George was
was himself responding to his friend Ravi Shankar's request for him to try and help and the issue over raising the
money to relieve the sufffering, was just as important as focusing the world's attention on the desperate situation.
The concert was held at Madison Square Garden, New York, on the 1st August, 1971 and the artists who appeared
with George included, Ravi Shankar, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Billy Preston, Badfinger & Leon Russell etc. I will
give the full tracks and who performed on which song in a moment.

The sight and sound
of the true greats such as Bob Dylan and George Harrison playing and singing together on stage was a historical
moment. As for the music they made,"Concert for Bangla Desh" was voted the album of the year, in Ameica the
album made No.1 and it still is the only triple album to ever follow another one consequetively after the previous
year's "All Things Must Pass." In the UK, even with the worthiness of the charity and
knowing the money was vital, or at least the part allowed by the greedy record companies, we totally ignored this
set and so few were sold, "Concert for Bangla Desh" never even entered the UK charts.

This box set comes in Protective Plastic Sleeve which I purchased for these auctions.  Once I took the pictures I placed the box in it’s Protective Plastic Sleeve & Sealed it.  I hope with the pictures I have taken you can get a pretty good idea of the condition of both the cover & the Vinyl,  I purchased a new 8.1 megapixel camera just for the ebay pictures I will be taking so I hope it has paid off, please let me know if the photos are not clear.
