George Harrison - 'All Those Years Ago'. PRO-A-949
George Harrison 1981 USA DEMO/PROMOTIONAL pressing of 'All Those Years Ago'. Issued to promote the forthcoming release of 'All Those Years Ago' 7" single and the 'Somewhere In England' LP. These demo pressings would have been given out to reviewers or radio stations before the official release date. It is offered here in wonderful EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+ condition.
Released on George's own 'Dark Horse' record label both sides of the 12" disc feature the same length (3:42) version of 'All Those Years Ago'. The labels feature 'PROMOTIONAL COPY NOT FOR RESALE' text and the unique to this demo release catalogue number of 'PRO-A-949'. The vinyl is housed within the original and unique white DEMO ONLY cover which again features the 'PROMOTIONAL COPY NOT FOR RESALE' text.
Recorded shortly after the death of John Lennon this track is one of the closest collaborations to a full Beatles reunion. Both Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr appear on this recording along with Wings members Linda McCartney and Denny Laine. A great rarity in great condition.
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition.
Both sides of the vinyl have been play tested with NO faults at all, just light crackle in some places.
Both labels are in MINT- condition. PERFECT.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+ condition.
The inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition.
